These Terms govern services between the Client and TrekTranslate, Via XX Settembre 33, 16121 Genova, Italy. Placing an order or engaging services constitutes full acceptance.
Professional translation, localisation, transcreation, certified translation, audiovisual translation, and related linguistic services. All delivered digitally unless sworn physical documents are required.
Quotes based on word count, language pairs, subject matter, and deadline. Valid 14 days. Contract formed upon Stripe payment or written acceptance of invoice.
Provide complete final source materials within 3 working days of project start. Supply reference materials if available. Provide consolidated feedback within 5 working days per review cycle. Confirm right to commission translation. Designate single point of contact.
All materials strictly confidential. NDAs with all linguists. Client-specific NDAs on request. Confidentiality survives 5 years post-termination.
Client owns translations upon full payment. TM and glossaries are Client property. Source material remains Client IP. Trek retains proprietary tools and methods.
Included review cycles per plan. Requests consolidated per cycle, within 14 days of delivery. Source text changes quoted separately.
Limited to fees paid for the specific project. No guaranteed commercial outcomes. Sworn translation validity warranted under Italian law.
Either party, 7 days written notice. Completed work invoiced and non-refundable. Unstarted work refunded. In-progress work per Refund Policy.
Italian law. Genoa courts. EU ODR platform available (ec.europa.eu/odr). Updated: March 2026.
